HCRC offers permanent mortgage loans at competitive terms and interest rates and the highest level of financing flexibility to meet the unique financing needs of affordable projects.

Projects financed with assistance from HCRC provide much needed housing to seniors, low income families, and special needs individuals.
Text Box: Multifamily Mortgage Loan Text Box: HCRC assists owners, investors, and developers of affordable projects seeking financing, and can assist with financial structuring, funding options, as well as RFPs and application submissions to obtain government funds for housing and community development. This service is especially helpful to first-time applicants and applicants who require intensive administrative and facilitation assistance. A minimum fee plus a contingent fee is charged for all consulting and administrative services, and services are provided on an as-available basis.

HCRC’s multifamily mortgage program can be used for

*long-term mortgage financing of new construction, acquisition, and rehabilitation of affordable rental projects

*refinancing of existing debt on affordable multifamily rental projects

*financing acquisition or buyouts of partnership interest in Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects

All loans funded by HCRC must meet the basic criteria of economic viability and security, and affordability requirements. Priority is given to projects serving low– to very-low income families and larger families, as well as those that will maintain long-term affordability.
